Conformation:
The following outlines the licensed
classes to be held at NKC Licensed
events. Age is determined as of the date
of the show. All dogs are shown in their
appropriate classes to determine which
dogs move up to the next level of
competition (best puppy, best male,
etc).
• Puppy Class I is for all males/females
3 months to 6 months of age.
• Puppy Class II is for all
males/females 6 months to 9 months of
age.
• Puppy Class III is for all
males/females 9 months of age to less
than 1 year of age.
• Junior Class is for all males/females
1 year of age and under 2 years of age.
• Senior Class is for all males females
2 years of age and under 4 years of age.
• Veteran Class is for all males/females
4 years of age and older.

* Best of Breed (to be held Sunday for
the entire weekends qualifying winners)

We are proud to have NWDA working and judging the following working
events
Driviest Puppy:
There are 3 age classes
2 months - 5 months
5 months - 9 months
9 months -12 months
This is a little different age break up than usual, please be sure
you know which class your puppy belongs in.
Sprint Races:
Adults will be first because of the schedule lay out
There will be two puppy sprint races
0-6 month and 6-12 month
Baiting with food or a toy is permitted.
Judges will have radar guns and stop watches.
Top MPH wins and ties go to fastest times.
Hardest Hitting:
This event will be judged by certified decoys. There will be two
long bites given by two different decoys in succession. This is an
Adult dog event with two classes:
Male and Female.

NWDA Title Events:
Please contact NWDA for registration and Score books.
Civil War Protection Tournament:
This is an adult dog event open to all breeds. There will be a
handler meeting prior to the event when handlers will be walked
through the different scenarios.
There are two classes
Novice Class - For non titled dogs
Advanced Class - For any previous protection tournament winners and
any titled dogs in any protection sport.
